Zenned out team building event

We took Lissa’s intro to sewing class as a team building event. We all work in front of screens daily and found this incredibly relaxing and zen. Lissa is patient and easily shares her expertise. So fun to create and leave with your own bag. Can’t wait to go back!

Highly recommend.

I took Lissa’s entry to sewing session lastnight and had a really great time. It would be fun to take the class with a friend, but I went by myself and ended up enjoying the wonderful group (of 6) that I got to meet. Lissa made her way around our small group to answer questions and offer assistance. She’s a wonderful teacher and guides you through SO much that the 3 hours flew by! Highly recommend.

Motivating

This old dog is learning new tricks, thanks to Lissa and her amazing skills. I have wanted to take sewing classes for awhile and at age 62 the universe provided the time, place, and fantastic instructor/artist. I came into the class with a lot of excitement and know experience; Lissa was patient and supportive, in a wonderful positive atmosphere, she creates in her studio. The studio is spacious with enough room to spread out comfortably and she always has a fabulous playlist that helps you flow. You can feel the passion Lissa has for her craft with her hands on instructions and demonstrations. Lissa is organized and has everything you need, so you leave the class with a wonderful reversible toto bag created with your own hands it was a blast, I will be taking beginner class 2.

highly recommend

I'm a beginner sewer and I took a beginner course as well as a private lesson in order to work on a personal project. Both teachers I worked with were extremely professional and helpful. The studio is spacious, clean, and well-equipped. I felt welcomed and supported which was especially appreciated given my lack of experience. I highly recommend Moving Thread to anyone who is interested in learning to sew or to broaden their sewing skills.
