About Rob and Michelle:
Los Angeles based fashion designers Rob Younkers and Michelle Kim met 23 years ago while studying at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Their friendship grew out of their love for fashion as well as four-legged friends. Rob and Michelle have been long time supporters of animal rescues, and their brand expresses the love, joy, and fun of giving often overlooked animals a chance to shine. Their one-of-a-kind, maximalist pieces are created with rhinestones, studs, and patches. Rob and Michelle have so much fun being inspired by playful themes such as rock & roll, spirituality, and Hollywood.

Michelle designed for ten years for Anna Sui in New York City, and then moved onto a successful career as a fashion consultant with clients such as Goop and Rebecca Taylor. Michelle relocated to Los Angeles to become designer director for Goop’s clothing collection, G.label, and has happily returned to consulting for various fashion brands.

Rob has designed with fashion houses including Patricia Field in New York City and Dolce & Gabbana in Milan (being their first American Designer). In 2004 he began teaching at Parsons School of Design, which inspired Rob to create STITCHED, his fashion camp for aspiring children designers. Rob was a cohost on LOGO’s Secret Guide to Fabulous for three seasons and has appeared as an on-air fashion expert for Yahoo Style, E! Television, ABC, and Canada’s The Marilyn Denis Show.

Rob and Michelle work out of their Los Angeles studio alongside their rescues pups Cornelius, Pom Pom, and Tilda!
