Create the perfect chic bag for going to the beach or an afternoon of shopping. You will choose your own palette to create a bag that compliments your wardrobe. Or create a unique gift for a special friend or loved one.
This is not a difficult sewing project but does require basic sewing skills and attention to detail. Rotary cutting and precision pinning will be introduced. Students will select and purchase their own fabrics in advance (see supply list below), a combination of quilting cotton and complimentary cotton solids.
Max 6 students. 1 class of 6 hours. There will be a 30 minute break for lunch, so bring from home or purchase nearby.

Sewing Arts has a large selection of beautiful prints and solids. The fabric should run approximately $25 plus tax. Ask for Julie or Rachel (owners) or Kathleen to help you make your selection.

Instructor will provide Fusible Batting, Fusible Interfacing and a thread selection for quilting. If you have your own quilting supplies such as rulers, rotary cutters, marking tools, quilting pins or special thread, please feel free to bring them.
