Let’s turn something old into something new… Repurpose an old pair of jeans or pull together some saved and special fabric scraps.
We’ll begin the workshop by creating our own fabric panels, whether that means piecing together your favorite scraps or deconstructing an old pair of jeans. Then we’ll sew up a zippered pouch. You’ll learn to insert zippers, attach linings, box your corners and top stitch. Your finished product will be a beautiful make up bag, pencil case or gift.
Fabric choices are available but recommended to bring an old pair of non-stretch jeans, scrap fabrics that you love or something interesting to repurpose.
Sewing machines and all equipment will be provided. Masks optional.
Students must have taken "Intro to Sewing" Workshop or have basic sewing experience.
